Our Mission: Give you a place where you can grow in faith, enjoy fellowship with old and new friends alike, and have fun while we’re at it!What is this? High School Youth Group is where all high school students (9th-12th grade) can come to learn new things about their faith, form small groups and Bible studies, play games for prizes, hang out with friends, make new friends, and all the while discover how incredible a relationship with God can be.What do you do?

We meet every Monday Night from 4:30-8:30 (though, usually we end up kicking the teens out around 9:00 - they never want to leave!)

4:30-6:00pm is study hall & hangout time.

6:00pm is Dinner (usually home cooked by our youth minister! Spaghetti, Lasagna, tacos, baked potatoes, gumbo - you name it we've got it AND chicken nuggets)

6:30-8:30 is our official 'youth group' time with group games, presentations on all manner of Catholic topics, prayer, and discussion.

Where do you meet?
- The St. George Youth House! 10050 Kinglet Drive, across from the Nursery School & next to the Parish Office.
- Our Youth House is exclusively for the high school students of our parish, with rooms for study, music, video games, playing pool & ping-pong, and a wealth of snacks to share. Our youth minister is constantly working to update and improve the space for the teens.

Additional Events:
- Diocesan Events: Such as the March for Life, Born to Run, and various conference opportunities throughout the year! Details on these will come as they are provided to Ms. Catherine.
- Service: We are working to add service days to our calendar, where we either serve our own campus community at St. George or go out and serve the wider Baton Rouge Community together.
- Bonus Events: Things like retreats, dances, lock-ins, these are events that we host occasionally throughout the year - often as a 'thank you' to our regular youth group participants.
Our High School Youth Group Patron Saints are Our Lady of Grace, Pope St. John Paul II, and St. Catherine of Alexandria. Our Lady of Grace intercedes for our youth group, reminding us of God’s love and His constant outpouring of graces to each of our hearts. Pope St. John Paul II calls us to holiness, calls us to know that we should not be afraid to be holy but that we should embrace holiness today and be the Saints of TODAY.
